OVERBROOK PARK VS. CORPORATIONS
We have been advised that we will not be given another hearing date to appear in front of the Zoning Board. We must submit all
documentation and credentials to the Zoning Board within the 30 days, which would be April 2, 2010.
If by chance, the Zoning Variance is granted, we can appeal, however Cricket Communications would still be able to erect the
GPS Towers during this process if the Zoning Variance warrants so. If we win upon appeal then they would have to remove it, but we
would then have to petition the courts to reverse the Zoning Variance back to prevent another Telecommunications company from coming along
and erecting their antennas with a simple request for a permit or permission from Greater Media/WPEN.
We need your support. If it affects one it affects all!

Our MLK day will be at Rose Playground again this year. Our task is not as strenuous this year. We will be cleaning out the office for Town Watch and unwanted furniture, sweeping and preparing the facility to begin our monthly meetings and other activities in 2010 in there. Volunteers are needed, no more than 15 for the job, so that we are not on top of each other. Robin has offered her Girl Scouts to assist for community service. If you are not able to do physical labor we can also use you to organize or coordinate the efforts. Thank you!
